The opportunity:

We are seeking highly motivated researchers to join our remote team. This role combines structured AI-supported secondary research with active primary research and stakeholder engagement. You’ll become a sector and regional specialist, responsible for sourcing and validating project data through professional outreach and technology-enabled workflows.

This is not a passive data entry role. You’ll be expected to proactively build a network of industry contacts and contribute real-time insights directly to our platform. The work is fast-paced, data-driven, and impactful.

What you will do:

Primary Research:

• Conduct daily outreach (via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to verify or gather project information.
• Identify missing data (e.g., stakeholders, project timelines, status).
• Build and maintain a network of regional project professionals.
• Invite qualified contacts to join the ABiQ platform (non-sales).

AI-Supported Secondary Research:

• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, ABiQ Monitors) to discover new projects and track updates.
• Follow prompt libraries and workflow templates to ensure research consistency.
• Maintain strict sourcing protocols—copying exact wording from verified sources with full citations.

Sector & Regional Expertise:

• Specialize in a specific region and sector (e.g., infrastructure in East Africa or energy in GCC countries).
• Stay updated on industry trends and regional developments.

Data Entry & Quality Control:

• Enter complete and accurate project data directly into ABiQ’s CMS.
• Meet daily update targets and contribute to platform reliability.
• Participate in regular audits and team performance reviews.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; relevant fields (business, international relations, engineering, journalism) preferred.
• 3+ years of research experience, ideally involving both secondary and primary data collection.
• Comfortable making cold calls to senior professionals (e.g., engineers, developers, government officials).
• Experience using or strong interest in using AI tools to enhance productivity and discovery.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; Arabic, French, Portuguese, or Chinese is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Reliable personal computer and high-speed internet connection.
• Remote work discipline and self-management capabilities.
