Project Showcase: Boosting Economic Activity through the South Africa Eastern Corridor Development

At an estimated cost of about $11 billion, the project features the construction of the new OR Tambo University, the development of the OR Tambo logistics gateway, the Prasa-Gibela rail manufacturing hub, the expansion of the OR Tambo International Airport, as well as several other industrial developments. Some of these smaller projects are already under construction, while others are in feasibility studies.
