There are currently five new museums under construction in the UAE. Four of them are in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. With a total investment estimated at almost $2 billion, the capital has set its sights firmly on becoming the cultural capital in the Middle East.
Construction work on the museums will peak in July 2024. At this time, there will be an estimated 47,000 personnel on-site at the various projects.

- Umm Al Quwain National Museum
Construction work is scheduled for completion in 2025 on the last two of the five new museums. The Natural History Museum and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi will be the last two completed in Q4 2025.
